Participation of National and International leaders in the stroke field. Faculty from India, USA, Canada, Europe , Australia, Hongkong, Singapore, and Pakistan .
- State of art lectures by experts on stroke thrombolysis, neuroprotection, intensive care of stroke, stroke imaging, transcranial Doppler, secondary prevention of stroke, management of vascular cognitive impairment and latest techniques of stroke rehabilitation.
- Special “Endovascular Stroke Intervention" session by interventionalists from India. Discussion about referral and training opportunities in stroke intervention (extra and intracranial stenting, endovascular thrombolysis) within India.
- The Congress will be held 3 weeks after the International stroke meeting in San Diego, USA, so that the impact of latest and cutting edge stroke research on our daily practice will be discussed.
- Special session on “stroke training” for doctors in which stroke experts from India and abroad will discuss the educational and research opportunities available to young neurologists in India and abroad.
- Case history and clinical vignette driven interactive sessions, where the expert and delegates will discuss stroke management dilemma and how to overcome them. There will also be a session on stroke controversies and consensus.
- Opportunity to present the stroke research done in India.
- Enough time will be given for discussion after each session.
