The objects of the Association shall be as under:

• To undertake scientific research in the area of stroke (“brain-attack”) and allied disciplines and also in such institutions in India
• To establish, operate, promote, run, maintain and manage institutions engaged in the advancement of medical research
• To provide research facilities for carrying out basic and applied research in concerned systems and disciplines such as study of diseases and disorders, modes of therapy, epidemiology and laboratory studies etc.,
• To establish, provide, maintain and conduct or assist research laboratories, experimental institutions for scientific research etc,.
• To advice and publish and / or otherwise promote utilization of research results in the field of stroke problems.
• To promote, develop, provide exchange of knowledge as well as technical cooperation between similar research institutions,
  in India
• To conduct conferences, refresher courses, lectures, seminars, demonstrations and exhibitions relating to the medical research
• To make available the techniques and materials developed as a result of research
• To render such assistance for the aforesaid objects or any of them in such manner whether by funding donations, grant or otherwise as the Association may deem proper
• To do all acts, matters and things as are incidental to or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and objects or any one or more of them.
